California Security Printer Policies and Procedures state that approved Security Printers may not purchase stock paper with pre-printed features and/or prescription format. Security Printers can ONLY purchase blank stock that incorporates the latent repetitive void pantograph and chemical void protection.

As a California approved Security Printer, you must have the facilities and equipment necessary to apply all of the security features required in Health and Safety Code section 11162.1 to produce controlled substance security prescription forms. This includes the required artificial watermark and thermochromatic ink.
